Hello,

I am Daniel J. Ricci a Political Science major at the City College of New York. This is my personal portfolio where examples of my writing, and other projects will be featured to present my skillset in a practical manner.

Over the course of my first semester at the college I plan to showcase three valuable skills I have acquired as well as refined. Firstly, my ability to locate accurate research sources, and evaluate them individually for, credibility, accuracy, timeliness, as well as their bias. Furthermore to summarize, synthesize, interpret, analyze critical, as well as argue for against my given stance in a practical manner. Lastly, to gage, understand, and use both print as well as digital technologies to address a range of audiences. Honing these skills has truly allowed me to add depth to my writing and allowed me to grow, and advance. These skills are meaningful to me since they have allowed me to truly grow and apply skills independently on subject matter of my interest. Thereby making me a better writer, but more importantly making me a better writer paired with my intellectual freedom in order to truly understand, and be able to utilize these skills.
